Hello my angels, I am BACK ❣️ — I’ve been anchoring myself into this little mantra during my vacay away in the form of gentle check-in q’s: what does it look like to be more loving with myself *right* now? what is going on inside of me in this moment, and, can I let it be, with love? how can I treat myself with the most care and compassion inside of this present moment? inviting the answers lead my way, and letting that be okay as I practice training my mind with kindness and patience ‍♀️ over and over and over again to noticing when I’m resisting things outside of my control (#exhausting), and release while simultaneously, seeeking out all *can* control, and relaxing #releaseandrelax ‍♀️ — ALSO, I’ve been pouring a whole lotta love into a new project for this space and I’m finally going to unveil it next week! it’s not quite up to the “ready” standards the perfectionist within me might wan


Do not forget to send your love into the earth, into the water, into the sky and the life you are living right now ☁️✨ — though temps will be about 45° lower than this warm snapshot of pure june beach bliss, I’m so grateful to be in one of my favorite places with my favorite guys for the next few days ready to soak in every second of this getaway and opportunity to hibernate, unwind and just be together I’m going to take an IG vacation while we’re away to *really* slow my nervous system and practice being present in my now cocooning inside my own energy, creating space for deep rest and inviting peaceful quiet into my being engaging in *all* of the intuitive soul-care that consistently guides me back to feeling at home in my mind & body ‍♀️ reading, writing gratitude lists, listening to audiobooks, journaling my heart out, dancing, setting intentions, stretchy movement flows, snuggling Finn, sitting in front of the waves, lots of


Chronic conditions can flip all you thought you knew about socializing on it’s head and leave you feeling all kinds of when it comes to relationships with friends & family many of these things I’ve googled myself or brought up with my therapist or seeked reassurance from my health coach about or discussed with select friends who I deeply trust ALL of it is valid and normal to experience when the way you’re used to interacting in relationships is completely upended by a health crisis or condition... ...it takes TIME and effort to build a new way of being that feels natural and respects your needs ‍♀️ allow yourself to kindly redefine how you show up to and what you need from relationships get curious about interactions that leave you energized and loved vs. drained and full of tension ⚖️ drawing new boundaries with love, speaking needs with authenticity and endeavoring to cultivate *kind* and *clear* relationships are ALL things I’m still work


3 years ago I remember sitting in the passenger seat of my mom’s car and asking a variation of this question out loud for the first time it was january, I was freshly on medical leave from my first full time job and I was exasperated by deteriorating health + increasingly complicated medical issues I was nervous I was scared I was swirling with unsteadiness and feeling like a constant disappointment I asked my mom, with the faintest whisper from my intuition leading me on, “...what if I spent a whole year not trying so hard to *change* what is, but just trying to *be* with it with more acceptance...” before she could reply, I jumped into anxious chatter and justification: “I wouldn’t give up, it would just be temporary, I’d obviously still be working to recover, I still don’t *like* things like this, I want to be well again, I really do — I’m just so tired of feeling broken and ‘wrong’ the way I am...” &mda

New blog live today on ‘resilience formed in the fire of relentless chronic pain’ sometimes, when I’m writing, I enter a state of flow where words pour out of me without much thought I read them back, and I can hardly believe they came from my own brain it’s as if my mind goes offline and my higher self logs on to pour healing and wisdom over all that aches this was one of those blogs I hope that some of the words wash over and through you and soothe places in your heart that feel tender, as they did for me mini excerpt below, full link in bio as always! — the pain itself feels cruel, almost merciless if it wasn’t shattering you into a million tiny pieces you might even pause and observe its sheer force with reverent awe yet somehow, no matter how broken you feel, you continue to carry yourself through these moments though you feel like scorched, smoky earth – you persevere inside tears of overwhelm and thoughts of, “

I grew so tired of longing for what *wasn’t* that I decided to focus on the beauty inside of what *is* ‍♀️ — it can be so fatiguing to live with chronic conditions and constantly longing for “better” it robs you of the ability to feel joy right now it steals moments where you’re allowed to relax & accept everything as “okay” it locks you into resistance with a viper grip that is both draining and demoralizing it disguises itself as ‘commitment to getting better”, while it is demands that along the way, you hold onto feeling bitter releasing this narrative and choosing to love my life + find joy RIGHT in the middle of trudge and pain flipped my perspective upside down and changed my entire existence it enabled me to begin to open to the possibility that I could carry pain and joy at the EXACT same time it gently suggested that in the wild of my unknowns, I had the power to choose hope over fear it welcomed


Take a moment to steep & soak in the beautiful truth that you are a one of a kind, absolutely irreplicable, single edition soul ☕️✨ the way you love the way you see beauty the way you spread kindness the way you inspire others the way you experience joy is all preciously and uniquely *you* when you begin to shine warm presence on all that makes you & the way you exist in this world so incredibly individual... ...you open the doorway to your inner well of unconditional kindness ☀️ a safe haven within your being where you can recharge, reflect, grow, rest, find clairty, feel calm and connect with your you-ness, intuition and heart ‍♀️ the part of you *always* nudging you toward the next right choice for right now — as you make your way in this world imagine what it would be like to encase your experience of living in a cocoon of your own compassion and unconditional love plant the thought, nurture it by returning regularly and watch as your existence bloo


Smiling and holding gentle compassion for this week’s mood, which a lot of the time, was basically, “I *don’t* know how I’m gonna make it, but I *do* know that I am!” ✨ wrapping you in loving energy for every second of hurt that’s felt too big to bear lately look at you look at us still breathing still joy seeking still trying still here still choosing love sometimes it is so effing tough, but all times we are so effing tougher
